Socially Conscious

The mission and vision of Waterra involves giving back to others in the community.

Waterra employs disabled workers as a means to give someone a chance at a meaningful career or a second chance to re-enter the workforce after a life changing event or accident that resulted in a disability.  Waterra has designed positions that enable our associates to excel and exceed expectations.

Waterra donated time and funding to support breast cancer research.  Waterra was heavily involved in “Racquets for the Cure, “a tennis tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina that donated funds raised to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Waterra continues to donate time and expertise to Vocational Rehabilitation in Alamance County, North Carolina.  Time was donated to train VR staff in the best practices to promote hiring of workers with disabilities.

Waterra gave time and support to Greensboro Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities. “Shoppers Day” at Four Seasons Town Center. Volunteers assisted disabled persons as they shopped for friends and family at the mall.  The event was a huge success as good cheer and fellowship was shared.
